Currently a weekend Sports Anchor and Reporter for KHOU-TV, Matt has served in several different capacities since starting at Channel 11 in 1980: Executive Producer of Sports, Weekend Sports Anchor and Co-Host of 11 News This Morning.
A native of Frankfort, Kansas, Matt played football, baseball, basketball, and ran track in high school. Musil graduated from Kansas State University with a major in Radio-TV Journalism and a minor in coaching. Before turning his attention to the radio business, Matt played baseball up to the semi-professional level.
A husband and father of three children, Musil is very active in the community. Musil appears regularly at area civic organizations, schools and churches as a guest speaker and regularly participates in a variety of charitable events in the Houston area. Musil also hosts annual youth summer basketball camps, HOOPS FOR KIDS, at Houston Northwest Community Center.
